You can use simple phrases for basic needs and can have basic
interactions provided the other person speaks clearly.
A2 level (7-9)
You can use English for everyday tasks and activities. You can also
understand common phrases related to topics like your personal
information or your employment.
B1 level (10-12)
You can have simple conversations about familiar topics. At B1 level,
you can describe some of your experiences slowly, and deal with most
situations while traveling.
B2 level (13-17)
You can communicate confidently about many topics. Most
conversations are held at the B2 level, so you can speak with natives
without difficulty and with spontaneity. You can also understand the
main ideas of texts about topics you are familiar with.
C1 level (18-21)
You can express yourself fluently in almost any situation, without the
need to search for expressions. You are able to perform complex tasks
in English related to work and study. You can also produce clear,
detailed texts on challenging subjects.
C2 level (22-25)
You use the English language with complete mastery. You have the
ability to read, speak and write about any type of subject, emotion, or
opinion. You are able to differentiate finer shades of meaning from the
language even in more complex situations.
